At this point, I regret to say that institutions seem to be in control of the market. Retail investors who were previously holding long positions likely exited their positions about a month ago. Now, it appears that institutions are sweeping in to take advantage of pre-sale orders, acquiring shares at a lower price ahead of earnings reports.
