can anyone pls share what are the possible scenario that could happen if i am holding sell put contract for smci in the case they got delisted?

    You get assigned the 100 stocks if it expire ITM before it get delisted. If the expiry is after, likely will liquidate and take a loss depending on the negative position it’s in.

      U can excecute your put option if your buyer. You won’t loss all but will make a losses. Doesn’t matter if it is itm or otm

      I believe the options will still be in your portfolio if it’s still not expired yet after SMCI get delisted. However, you won’t be able to close the position because there are no liquidity. You can only wait till the option expire and depends if it’s ITM or OTM, the stock get assigned accordingly.
