Sustainable long-term growth needs healthy pullbacks. Why would you want to own an EV battery when prices are falling like a rock. Just lease the battery. Target remains $11.

      Last week new EV registration was also below expectation with 3700 units for Nio model and Onvo 1430 units. Onvo was plagued with BYD unable to supply enough battery caused the delay and customers maybe cancelling the order if unable to get their Onvo EV by this year end with government subsidy.

      The worst is Nio still spending usd1/2 bil per Qtr on R&D on top of 1/2 bil on Operation expenses. This is killing Nio. Even the swap station is unable to breakeven with less than 30 swaps per station per day now. Nio needs 60 to 70 swap per station in order to breakeven only.
