$Microsoft(MSFT)$ Microsoft launched a new AI artificial intelligence model today after the bell, debuting phi-4. Phi-4 achieves remarkable mathematical reasoning capabilities while using far fewer computational resources than its larger competitors. The 14-billion-parameter Phi-4 frequently outperforms much larger models like Google’s Gemini Pro 1.5 marking a transcendent shift in how tech companies will approach AI development going forward. MSFT just smoked the competition, and jumped out to a massive lead in the AI arms race tonight after the bell. If MSFT doesn't open up +15 points or more pre-market it means that the market hasn't fully awakened to the significance of the news and this presents a temporary window of opportunity. Any price under 500 per share is going to look like an insane bargain by mid 2025.
