Golden Mile Resources reports strong rock chip results from Odyssey prospect
Golden Mile Resources (ASX:G88) announced results from its recent rock chip sampling programme at the Odyssey prospect, part of the Pearl Copper Project in Arizona, USA.
The assays revealed impressive mineralisation, with silver grades up to 312 g/t, copper at 15.2%, zinc at 24.8%, and lead at 12.65%.
Mineralisation was identified across multiple structures with mineralised north-northwest trending epithermal veins, reinforcing the potential for high-grade deposits.
The results surpass previous records for copper, zinc, and lead, highlighting the project's multi-element prospectivity ahead of the maiden drill program.
"These rock chip samples have delivered the best set of assays at the Odyssey Prospect to date and reinforce the high prospectivity of the Pearl Copper Project," stated Damon Dormer, Managing Director of Golden Mile.
The November fieldwork identified mineralisation along an 800-metre strike length, with veins showing visible malachite, chrysocolla, and smithsonite.
Parallel structures such as the Odyssey West Vein have also shown mineralisation, further extending the area of interest.
Golden Mile is preparing for drilling with eight platforms for reverse circulation drill holes planned at the Odyssey prospect, indicating strong potential to explore the preliminary findings further.
At the time of reporting, Golden Mile Resources' share price was $0.009.
