Inghams names new CEO

Inghams Group (ASX:ING) announced that Andrew Reeves, current CEO and Managing Director, will retire in mid-2025.

Edward Alexander, the current CEO of Inghams' New Zealand business, will succeed him after a thorough global search.

Helen Nash, Chair of Inghams, praised Reeves for his leadership since 2021, stating, "Andrew has done an exceptional job leading the business since his appointment, stabilising the business and optimising its performance."

She also recognised his dedication to the company during challenging times. Reeves expressed his gratitude, saying, "It has been an honour to be part of the success of Inghams. We successfully navigated a global pandemic, stabilised and returned the business to strong profitability."

Edward Alexander will commence his new role as managing director and CEO on June 30, 2025.

He acknowledged the opportunity, stating, "I am honoured by the appointment and excited by the opportunities.  I look forward to leading the business into a new era of sustainable growth."

Inghams Group is an integrated poultry producer focused on the production and sale of chicken and turkey products across its vertically integrated free-range, value enhanced, primarily processed, further processed and by-product categories.

At the time of reporting, Ingham's share price was $3.19.
