NEWS: @Tesla has secured a new $205 million Megapack contract to install 233 Megapacks in Northern Chile.
The big battery will be a 4 hour 228 MW/912 MWh energy storage system. Operation will begin in 2026 and provide electricity equivalent to the consumption of 55,480 homes.
A solar farm, with a planned capacity of 422 MW, is also part of the project.
