Buy what you like, and take responsibility for your gains or losses. If you manage to identify a company akin to China's NVIDIA among small-cap stocks, it shows you have great foresight. Holding onto it for ten years and watching it grow a hundred or even a thousand times is a testament to your vision—far better than dragging along with sluggish bank stocks.
But if, unfortunately, the company delists, then you accept the risk and move on.
