$Intuitive Machines(LUNR)$ So i love space stocks and have done alot of DD on all of them. LUNR is one i choose not to invest in, why? Well it just wasn't performing. As i researched it I found key milestones not being met, contracts with NASA being cancelled, cost overruns on everything. It just didn't stack up.
And now we see the second Potential "failed" moon landing. While the first mission was labled a success, well it fell over, and couldn't complete its mission. Spin it however you want, but its a fail for me. intuitive appears to be taking shortcuts. You just can't do that in space.
In contrast we have $Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$ $Redwire Corp.(RDW)$ $BlackSky Technology Inc.(BKSY)$ And $AST SpaceMobile, Inc.(ASTS)$ All delivering. I would not encourage you to buy any of these stocks unless you have balls of steel like chuck Norris. All very very volatile, definitely don't use margin because they move so much on a daily basis, easy to get caught on a margin call.
Then there is the issue that they are all long term investments, 10+ years. Not to say that you can't make alot of money in the short term buying calls or selling puts. But i go long... as long as i can. At least 1 year out. All can have amazing calls, or amazing contract wins, and still go down. Because they are all small caps, well they get played. We witnessed that a few days ago with rocket lab. Two days prior to earnings a bogus report came out claiming rklb was misleading shareholders and that according to their "experts" their new rocket would not launch until potentially 2027.
Seriously! Utter nonsense, why commission a barge For millions to be ready next year for neutrons second and. Third launch if you think launch 2 and 3 is not happening in 2026. actually, in peter beck (the CEO) i trust. Not some wankers attempting to make a profit off fake news, two days before earnings. fake news is becoming prominent. Sell puts, insert fake news with unnamed "experts". Use the profits from the puts to buy calls. Once everyone realizes it was fake, price goes up, more profit. Then move on to the next victim.
But im learning. If you can't beat em, join em. The next time i see fake news prior to earnings in a stock i understand, i will set a buy up a few bucks below current levels. Win for me cause i get an amazing stock at a discount.
Actually tin hat on, maybe the fake news a holes used the profits from their fake news to hire lawyers for the lawsuit against rocket lab claiming rocket lab is misleading shareholders. Im sure we will have more fake news of that nature going forward. Totally bogus btw, rocket lab is the most transparent company ive ever seen.
2025, say whatever You want, crash markets with complete lies. Lies are the new crypto currency. People are profiting from lies, and are not accountable at all. Meanwhile the companies we invest in are accountable, highly accountable. Yet they are now tasked with more cost to defend false truths. Its just wrong on every level.
