I made an additional investment in Disney stock, driven by the strong performance of its entertainment streaming division, including Disney+ and Hulu. Despite a slight decline in Disney+ subscribers, Hulu’s growth of 1.6 million new subscribers exceeded expectations, contributing to a 9% YoY revenue increase. The segment’s second consecutive quarter of profitability, generating $293 million in operating income, highlights Disney’s ability to successfully navigate the streaming market. With solid fundamentals and growth prospects, I see Disney as a promising investment in the evolving media landscape.
