A two-hour meeting between EU and U.S. representatives yielded little progress, with American officials indicating that most tariffs will likely stay. EU trade chief Maros Sefcovic left the talks without a clear understanding of U.S. objectives.
- China has instructed its airlines to halt any new purchases of Boeing aircraft, sources say, in response to escalating trade tensions after U.S. President Donald Trump imposed tariffs of up to 145% on Chinese goods
