I closed out my $MARA swing trade on 11Jul25 at $19.51 for a clean +5.66% gain just as $BTC tagged major Fib resistance. I didn’t wait for a rollover. I locked in profits and stepped aside with fresh powder. Since then, $MARA has cooled to $18.76. $BITF, $RIOT and $MSTR were all pressing into overhead levels the same day. When the entire sector signals stall, I rotate.

📈 Bitcoin tapped $123,278 before easing to $117,444. The flush was driven by leverage, not spot selling. Weekly structure still looks bullish, with former resistance around $114K now acting as support. Daily momentum is intact.

Zoom out and the picture gets bigger. BTC just completed a multi-month inverse head and shoulders breakout. Neckline at $114K is now behind us. That activates targets of $144K (linear) and $160K (log). The engine is running.

I entered after $BTC broke out of a 2-month Bollinger Band squeeze and $MARA reclaimed its 40-month SMA. Price cleared the MA5 and MA10 with conviction, forming a rising wedge into resistance.

• RSI6: 75.05 and climbing

• MACD: green with a rising histogram

• Post-market 11Jul: $19.55 close (+2.89%) confirmed buyer strength

BTC and MARA moved in sync into their Fibonacci zones. I didn’t overthink it. I sold into strength.

Historically, July is one of MARA’s strongest months, with mean gains over 10 percent. August and September often underperform. That backed my decision to exit early. But November? It’s MARA’s highest-performing month by far. I’ll be watching that window if price structure supports re-entry.

There’s more. MARA’s long-term harmonic pattern shows a D-point target at $74 by 2026.

• XA to AD extension targeting 2.65+ Fib level
