I do believe in long term investment. If you find the company business model is great and there is so much potential growth, you should hold on to the shares for many years.
In SGX stock, I had held on $OCBC Bank(O39.SI)$ since year 2003. This bank give a very good dividend.
In US stock, I had held on to this share $ResMed(RMD)$ since 2008. When I join this company, I find it have a very good business model and the potential growth is so great.
