$GLD Slides, $SPY Hits Lows, $VIX Spikes as $MDB and $CRDO Face Key Tests

$GLD is heading for one of its worst losses in a decade, $SPY has dropped to post-Thanksgiving lows, and $VIX is surging toward its highest close since April—while $MDB and $CRDO test critical support levels.

As a rule of thumb: whenever the VIX is up more than 20% in a day is more indicative of a washout which often leads to local bottoms (local means temporary cause things can always go lower)
VIX hit over 30% earlier and now has come down to about 25%
That data point combined with a 10 to 2 negative Advance/Decline is another washout signal
