The real winner of the 2026 World Cup may not be the team lifting the trophy, but the companies benefiting from the event.

With an estimated $50 billion in global wagers and millions of fans travelling across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, I see potential tailwinds for:

✅ DraftKings – Sports betting activity

✅ Airbnb – Accommodation demand

✅ Booking Holdings – Travel bookings

As for the Nasdaq “World Cup Curse”, I think it’s more correlation than causation. Eight tournaments are not enough data points to build an investment strategy around.

I’m staying focused on fundamentals and using any volatility as an opportunity to accumulate quality companies.

Which stock do you think benefits the most from the 2026 World Cup?
