KOSPI jumped over 8% intraday, reclaiming the 7,000 level as risk appetite returned. Foreign investors bought KRW 2.4 trillion ($1.61 billion) worth of stocks by the afternoon, more than double the net buying from the previous session. Institutional investors were net buyers of KRW 180 billion, though at a slower pace.
