Hong Kong stocks opened higher on Monday (20 July), led by $BABA-W(09988)$ 's 5% gain as of 9.45am following the preview of its flagship Qwen AI model.

Correspondingly, the Alibaba 5x Long DLC surged 25%, with the Alibaba 5x Short DLC down a similar magnitude.

The move followed Friday’s broad sell-off, when the $HSTECH(HSTECH)$ declined more than 5%.

Other technology stocks also rebounded at the open, with $KUAISHOU-W(01024)$ up 4.7% and $SMIC(00981)$ gaining 3.6%.

The rally lifted HSTECH by more than 3% in early morning trading.

Amplifying the move, the HSTECH 7x Long DLC rose by about 22%, while the HSTECH 7x Short DLC fell by a similar magnitude.

Investors who view the rally as the beginning of a broader market rebound may consider 7x Long DLCs to amplify their exposure to further HSTECH gains. Conversely, investors expecting a pullback may consider 7x Short DLCs to gain from a potential price decline.
