If the KOSPI rallies more than 5% and holds that level for over a minute, certain trading gets halted for 5 minutes. This can only happen once per day.
If the KOSPI rallies more than 8% and holds it for more than a minute, trading halts for 20 minutes, followed by a 10-minute single-price auction before normal trading resumes.
So, it wouldn't be a surprise if the KOSPI (and $Direxion Daily MSCI South Korea Bull 3x Shares(KORU)$ ) sees brief trading suspensions.
