Palantir Delivers Another Big Beat
Palantir reported second-quarter revenue of US$1.94 billion, up 93% from a year earlier and ahead of Wall Street’s estimate of US$1.80 billion.
Adjusted earnings came in at US$0.41 per share, topping expectations of US$0.35. Net income rose to US$1.07 billion from about US$329 million a year ago.
The quarter marked Palantir’s ninth straight earnings beat and the second consecutive quarter in which management raised its full-year guidance.
US Commercial Growth Drives the Rally
The standout number came from Palantir’s US commercial business. Revenue from the segment jumped 149% year over year to US$764 million, while US government revenue increased 90% to US$809 million.
That growth matters because investors have long questioned whether Palantir could expand beyond government and defence contracts.
The latest results suggest enterprise adoption is accelerating, with more companies using Palantir’s Artificial Intelligence Platform to deploy AI across manufacturing, supply chains and day-to-day operations.
Guidance Moves Higher
Palantir raised its full-year revenue forecast to between US$8.15 billion and US$8.158 billion, up from its previous outlook.
The company now expects US commercial revenue to exceed US$3.42 billion. It also guided for third-quarter revenue of US$2.16 billion to US$2.164 billion, above Wall Street expectations.
CEO Alex Karp said the company’s current growth momentum could continue for at least another 18 months.
