Why Did CSOP Samsung Electronics Daily (2x) Leveraged Product Suddenly Surge?
CSOP Samsung Electronics Daily (2x) Leveraged Product ($07747$) has surged 7.39% from today’s open so far.$南方两倍做多三星电子(07747)$$3倍做多韩国ETF-Direxion(KORU)$$韩国ETF-iShares MSCI(EWY)$
I believe there are several main reasons behind the move:
1. Samsung Electronics and Korean semiconductor stocks are rebounding strongly.
Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and the broader Korean technology sector had suffered significant declines previously. Recently, however, risk appetite has recovered and capital has started flowing back into Korean semiconductor stocks, driving a sustained rebound in Samsung Electronics.
2. The AI memory-chip theme is heating up again.
The market has started trading the HBM, DRAM, and AI-server memory demand story again. As long as investors continue to raise their expectations for future memory-chip prices and earnings, Samsung, as one of the world’s largest memory-chip manufacturers, should be a direct beneficiary.
3. New positive expectations are building around Samsung itself.
News and expectations surrounding AI memory technology, next-generation HBM products, and potential inflows from large institutional investors are strengthening the market’s outlook for a recovery in Samsung Electronics’ earnings.
4. 07747 itself is a leveraged product.
It is designed to provide leveraged exposure to the daily performance of Samsung Electronics, with leverage of approximately 2x. Therefore, when Samsung shares rise sharply, the gains in 07747 can be significantly amplified.
In my view, since the AI trade has become active again, the Korean stock market has gradually started to break away from its previous bearish trend. Looking ahead, I remain bullish on Korea-related ETFs.
