A big settlement with Samsung just came through, and a lot of these companies are using their technology. That part seems pretty clear. $Micron Technology(MU)$ and $Alphabet(GOOG)$ are undoubtedly huge, and whatever the settlements end up being won't make much of a dent in them anyway, but they did infringe and they will settle or be held accountable in court at some point over the next few years. If that sounds wrong, we'll just have to wait and see.
