Westgold Resources (ASX:WGX) released its updated three-year outlook featuring a fully funded growth plan to scale annual gold production to 460–510koz by FY29.

The project expands production from a base of 385–425koz expected in FY27.

Westgold Managing Director and CEO Wayne Bramwell commented, "Westgold’s updated 3YO is a high-confidence, executable organic growth plan lifting Group production towards 500,000 oz in FY29.”

The capital growth programme focuses on increasing ore availability in Murchison and expanding the Cue and Meekatharra processing hubs.

Westgold stated that conceptual internal studies indicate the Fletcher Zone could add 140kozpa to push Group production past 600,000ozpa.

Following the announcement, the Westgold Resources share price was unchanged at $6.46.

The business is a gold producer operating primary assets across the Murchison and Southern Goldfields regions of Western Australia.

The company recently generated 387koz of gold production in FY26.
