$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ $Apple(AAPL)$ $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ It's almost funny how this reads like the Fed decided to cosplay two completely different regimes.

In 2024, Powell cut rates by 50 bps right before a presidential election with core CPI still at 3.3%, a move that basically screamed liquidity first, questions later.

In 2026, Waller turns around and hikes 25 bps into midterms with core CPI at 2.4%, as if to say they're tightening into disinflation and that's just how it is.

Two cycles, same institution, completely opposite instincts.
