Sembcorp Industries’ utilities unit has signed a memorandum of understanding to explore supplying renewable and low-carbon energy to Singtel’s Nxera data centres in Singapore.
They will assess power generation using low-carbon hydrogen or biomethane, solar panels fitted vertically to buildings, and electricity imported from a floating solar development at Linggiu Reservoir in Johor, Malaysia.
