Trade Review: TQQQ
My experience trading TQQQ has been a valuable learning opportunity. TQQQ is a leveraged ETF that aims to deliver three times the daily performance of the Nasdaq-100 Index. It offers the potential for significant gains when the technology sector performs well, but it also comes with substantially higher risk and volatility.
One key lesson I have learnt is the importance of timing, risk management and discipline. TQQQ can experience sharp price movements in both directions, so entering a trade without a clear strategy can lead to unexpected losses. I have also realised that it is important not to let emotions such as fear and greed influence my decisions. Setting clear entry and exit points, using appropriate position sizing and avoiding overtrading are essential to managing risk.
Overall, trading TQQQ has taught me to be more patient, disciplined and prepared. Going forward, I will focus on following market trends, managing downside risk and reviewing each trade to identify areas for improvement.
