1月20日，費城聯儲主席哈克週五在新澤西州銀行家領導論壇年會的演講中重申了支持未來加息25個基點的觀點。他表示，“預計今年我們還會加息幾次，不過，在我看來，我們一次加息75個基點的日子肯定已經過去了。在我看來，今後加息25個基點是合適的。在今年的某個時候，預計政策利率將具備足夠的限制性，我們將保持利率不變，讓貨幣政策發揮作用。令人鼓舞的是，即使我們正在加息，並且看到一些通脹正在降溫的跡象，但全國經濟總體上仍然相對健康。”
