外交部發言人就中國和洪都拉斯建交發表談話

3月26日，中國同洪都拉斯簽署《中華人民共和國和洪都拉斯共和國關於建立外交關係的聯合公報》。兩國政府決定自公報簽署之日起相互承認並建立大使級外交關係。
世界上只有一箇中國，中華人民共和國政府是代表全中國的唯一合法政府，臺灣是中國領土不可分割的一部分，這是無可辯駁的歷史和法理事實。一箇中國原則爲1971年聯大第2758號決議所確認，是國際社會普遍共識和公認的國際關係基本準則。
洪都拉斯是中美洲重要國家。洪都拉斯政府選擇同世界上181個國家站在一起，承認並承諾恪守一箇中國原則，同臺灣斷絕所謂的“外交關係”，同中華人民共和國建立外交關係，並承諾不再同臺灣發生任何官方關係，不進行任何官方往來。這是順應大勢、合乎民心的正確抉擇。中方對此表示高度讚賞。
中方願在和平共處五項原則基礎上，同洪方加強各領域友好合作，造福兩國和兩國人民。
