The shares later fell back some, but still ended the session at a record high $50.23, up 12% on the day.</p>\n<p>All in, Couchbase (BASE) has gained 109.3% since its initial public offering priced at$24 a shareon July 22. That was above the $20-$23/share range that BASE company had expected, and the company also increased the IPO’s size to include 1.3M more shares thaninitially planned.</p>\n<p>Couchbase (BASE) has only risen from there, popping nearly 40% intraday on itsfirst post-IPO session.</p>\n<p>BASE has been rallying despite no apparent recent news other than plans to release its fiscal <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/QTWO\">Q2</a> results on Sept. 8 after the bell. Analystsexpectthe company to report some $28.1M of revenues and a $1.08 loss per share.</p>\n<p>Couchbase (BASE) provides software to allow companies to maintain large databases across data centers and cloud-computing systems.
