虽然业界对苹果是台积电大客户不会有任何怀疑，但苹果为台积电带来了多少营收却依旧是秘密，至少外界无从知晓。不过，有产业链方面的人士日前表示，苹果是台积电的大客户，来自iPhone、iPad和AppleWatch所需芯片的代工订单，在台积电晶圆代工营收中所占的比例，超过了20%。在今年二季度，台积电营收132.9亿美元，按产业链人士透露的超过20%的比例计算，台积电二季度来自苹果的营收，就超过了26亿美元。
