Market Preview Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President James Bullard said the U.S. central bank will need to move more aggressively on rate rises this year as it seeks to stem an inflation surge, amid a job market that could see the unemployment rate fall below 3% by the end of the year. Inflation was last this high around 40 years ago, but the inflation rate was falling in the early '80s as the Fed pushed the economy into a recession.
