For $Sea Ltd(SE)$the price had dropped quite substantially over the past 6 months (62%). It has lost more than half of its value during the past year. Many claim SE stock is still a strong sell because the current market climate isn’t very receptive to growth stocks.

One key reason is because Tencent sold $3bn of it in early Jan.

$TENCENT(00700)$sold the shares at $208 apiece, a discount of 6.9% to the previous close. After the sale, Tencent's stake in Sea Ltd declined from 21.3% to 18.7%.

“This drop is painful, and you might be feeling frustrated, disheartened, or worried about Sea’s future, Do not fear: we are in a strong position internally, and we are clear on our next steps. This is short-term pain that we have to endure to truly maximize our long-term potential.”said Chief Executive Officer Forrest Li.
