U missed a very important point. Apple Brand alone is one matric that couldn't valued by P/E. Consumer pays for Apple because it's Apple. They don't pays for Google because it's google, they just happens to be google (Samsung phone, pc browser etc)

    By saying that, you are missing out on another point. If you are paying for something (whether directly or indirectly) without knowing it, that thing is probably worth more in overall usage.

      I beg to differ. With such a strong branding as Apple, I have not used any of its products or services because I chose not to. It is entirely different for Google - its services are everywhere.

    yes, people pay for Apple because it's Apple, anyway, end up the results show in the balance sheet, it's where the investors should look into and make their evaluation.
