Metaverse, Magic or Madness
@BenjiFuji:Recently I came across an update that the Metaverse was used to engage physicians. It prompted me to think, is it Magic and wonderful or Madness? Metaverse Magic It's is here. The Metaverse can be used by physicians to attend meetings and it can be used also to watch a distant surgical procedures. Pilots already can learn how to better fly a planeusing VR, so what's stopping them from attending a Metaverse meeting to learn from each other? Imagine, when the multiverse is here, we might be using Oculus from $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ to travel to virtual worlds and HoloLens from $Microsoft(MSFT)$ to attend fully virtual meetings. $Apple(AAPL)$ is also rumouredto be coming up with its own VR headset and I can only imagine what dents it will try to put to the universe. Metaverse Madness Being so hyper connected to the Metaverse feels creepy at the same time. Imagine everyonejust stuck at home and hooked up onto their goggles? Wouldn't humanity simply be receptors of the virtual world? It was not long ago thatwe saw massive droves of people running around with Pokémon devices ignoring traffic. There's also this Matrix possibility of having our brains neural laced if Elon Musk succeeds. Isn't it scary? So how? Well I am bullish on the Metaverse. Yes it maytake 5 years or more to fully realise its potential. Like how the Internet was or how working from home seemed, technology can possess tremendous potential for good. Even though it seemed scary initially. Of course, it is unlikely that the Metaverse willreplace reality, like getting a hug, but it is undoubteded filled with many positive potentials. Like there are organisations looking into utilising the Metaverse for Charity and diagnosis and treatment of conditions. What do you think? Is the Metaverse Magic orMadness? I like to learn from you. @TigerStars@CaptainTiger@MillionaireTiger
