Are you still bullish towards Palantir?
I have been bearish since Jan 2022, and since then, it has fallen close to 40%.
Am no genius. But if you have a minute or two to spare, do hear me out:
Palantir is a great company, but I don’t think we should rush to buy this unprofitable company in this weak macro environment.
I mean, why not visit it again when it turns profitable? Yes, the price might have gone higher by then, but I think it is still not too late. Look at Tesla, it takes time to fly to the moon.
The gist is, you just need to be early on board a good train, but you need not be the earliest, considering the risk-reward ratio.
What if, I mean, what if, the train doesn’t fly? You will become a bag holder who is going to hold the stock for years, from 2021 till 2025? 2028? or 2030?
Nothing is guaranteed, so don’t trust anyone who tells you that Palantir is guaranteed to fly. And as with all companies, Palantir is facing several threats/risks. And I am not sure how many investors have delved into them.
I also wonder how many investors have listened to online financial gurus and Youtubers and bought it when it was 30s, or 20s, and have been averaging it down since a year ago?
Sorry if you’re looking for confirmation bias, as i am afraid that i cannot offer that. Trying to be objective here, even if it means these opinions are unpopular in nature It is quite common for investors to look for thesis or narrative that support their beliefs.
But of course, I could be wrong. As shared, don’t trust any random online personnel haha
Anyway, here’s an old video done in Jan 2022 - may still worth a look (if you have time to kill):
