@pekss:
I like the immediate SGD deposit and withdrawal functions via DDA account. There's almost little if any delay in the funding process, so that the funds can be deployed almost instantly to take advantage of the prevailing market prices. Nevertheless, to buy foreign currency-denominated stocks, we would have to either deposit the foreign currencies or make in-app currency exchange. Deposit of foreign currencies take longer processing times, while foreign currency exchanges from SGD will subject us to foreign exchange fluctuations. While the Forex fluctuations are parts and parcels of investment in stocks traded in foreign currencies, it would be good to be able to avoid that if our buy orders are not executed, as that will leave us with the foreign currency. A nice improvement though will be the removal of pre-funding in the foreign currencies for entries of buy orders. The app can earmark the equivalent SGD (with some excess for fluctuations if necessary) to facilitate the buy orders, and if and when they are executed, then make the required conversion from the earmarked SGD to the foreign currencies to settle the trades. In this way, users can avoid unnecessary forex risks if their buy orders are not executed. This will encourage users to enter buy orders on foreign currency-denominated counters without fear of being subject to forex losses if their orders are not executed. This will help to boost trades on the app and greatly differentiate it from other competitors that require pre-funding of foreign currencies to trade foreign stocks. In summary, I find Tiger Brokers a great appfor investment and hope to continue my investment journey with Tiger Brokers. @TigerEvents@TigerStars@TigerWire@MillionaireTiger
