Tesla Launches the 2023 Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive At a New Price Point
Tesla has re-launched Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive at a price point that’s lower than anticipated.
Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive is once again available within Tesla’s configurator for custom orders at a starting price of $47,240.
It offers an EPA-rated range that Tesla advertises as being in excess of 325 miles, as well as a 0–60 time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 145 miles per hour.
Like Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive, Tesla claims that the configuration is currently only eligible for a partial clean vehicle tax credit of $3,750.
A $250 price increase impacted all Tesla Model 3 and Model Y configurations yesterday, hence the $47,240 base price.
Estimated deliveries begin next month, with no Model 3 Long Range vehicles available in existing inventory.
Real Talk
This must be a brand new configuration of Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive featuring a different battery chemistry than the prior iteration, as the final range rating has yet to be released by the EPA.
That is doubly compounded by the fact that Model 3 Performance offers a similarly large battery pack and continues to qualify for the full $7,500 tax credit, yet the 2023 Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive only qualifies for $3,750 due to its battery material sourcing and/or production location.
Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive continues to be the goldilocks configuration of Model 3, as it offers the most range as well as premium features and impressive performance at a price that’s situated in between Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive and Model 3 Performance.
Tesla now has a compelling lineup of vehicles at $47,240 for a Model 3 or Model Y configuration with all of the bells and whistles that the average buyer could want.

Like I said many times before TSLA is one of these sleeping giants and as a leader in this sector, expect huge long term returns.
Tesla inventory hitting lower highs, it's peaked.
