17/1: Weak Earnings Breaks 🐂Rally & 🇺🇸Market-Stocks Overview🕵🏻♀️🕵🏻♂️
17/1 (Tue) ➡️ On the 1st trading day of this week, the VIX climbed 5.5% to 19.36. As the reading is still below 20, there is still little reason to worry, but be aware that investors seem to be on their toes again & weak earnings can cause the VIX to 🚀 anytime. As per my previous posts, this earnings season & the 1st rate hike announcement in 2023 is 🔑to determining whether the stock market will go into recovery mode from here or face another major sell-off‼️The DJIA & the S&P 500 both ended the day lower, as Goldman Sachs Group reported a bigger-than-expected 69% drop in Q4 profit & its shares falling 6.44% dragged these 2 indexes down.

The Nasdaq added 0.14% to 11,095.11 points.
🔎Sector-Stock Trend Analysis🔍:
(1) Popular tech stocks was a mixed bag of gains & losses. 📦AMZN fell 2.11% to $96.05 after gaining last Friday.
(2) Popular chip stocks was a mixed bag of gains & losses as well. As a result, SOXL inched up 0.85% to close at $13.06. $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$
(3) Popular 🇨🇳 stocks all dropped except DAO.
(4) On the EV front, it was a mixed bag of gains & losses as well but 🔋🚘 $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$
