As a Singapore user, 1 major event in Aug this year was the introduction of the Custody Fee for CDP sub account for SGX trades.
Most Singaporeans would have traded on SGX at 1 point in time but actually only focus on other markets like US/HK. So the introduction of this Custody Fee affected many people including me.
The process of enquiring how to avoid this Custody Fee in future was easy and the solution was simple.
Tiger Support chat suggested to close the CDP sub account, after afew questions for verification purposes, the request was submitted. The process was easy and no fuss at all.
