Manchester United shares jumped $3.86, or 26%, to $18.80 after its owners said Tuesday they were exploring a sale. U.S.-listed shares of Credit Suisse fell about 26 cents, or 6.4%, to $3.83 each. The Swiss bank warned it was headed for a roughly $1.6 billion loss in the fourth quarter after customers pulled their investments and deposits over concerns about the bank’s financial health. Nordstrom‘s shares slid 96 cents, or 4.2%, to $21.69 after the company reported a fall in quarterly net sales and said it is working to clear out its excess inventory.
