@Jo Tan:Now that the Fed's plan for this month has been announced, what do you think about market volatility? Despite no rate hikes this month, the market is still unnerved by comments by the Fed Chairman that one, rate cuts would not happen within this year and two, there could be further hikes this year. I suppose the market will take a while to digest and think about the message, thereby giving mixed sentiments. Somehow, that signals to me that the market will be flat because of different interpretations. That being said, I am carefully not to buy growth stocks at its peak. Knowing the stock's price supports is important to prevent impulsive buying. This however, may prove difficult. For example, $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ , while it has been bullish for 13 straight days, it may now come down due to hesitant investors. Having broken through ceilings like $180, $200 and $240, will it go through $260? My thought is no, as the market is starting to waiver. But I wouldn't sell my current stock of Tesla. I was blessed to have bought it below $180 but I will now hold. Other stocks which I am accumulating but in small amounts despite possibly being at its peak is $SINGAPORE AIRLINES LTD(C6L.SI)$ Buywhich is also experiencing green these few days. While I regret not buying it at $5++, I need to be careful not to FOMO and buy only in small amounts. This time, I will not spend all my resources in one shot. This period seems to be a replica of of the start of 2022, where tech stocks were going up and higher. I made a mistake of buying more and suffered when the price fell. This made me miss any opportunity to buy more. This is something I've learnt from last year and I will thus bide my time, slowly accumulating but leaving room for more. While prices may still go higher but I am committed to making less profit than more losses. I really have to stop myself from being greedy and buying in fell swoops. Of course, this won't stop me from monitoring the market. Updated**: Since last night on 15 Jun, the S&P 500 has chosen to disregard the Fed's hawkish view. Prices are all rallying. However, some strong stocks have shown that they are peaking, such as Tesla and $Luckin Coffee Inc.(LKNCY)$ . This brings to mind even more cautious buying for this week. @TigerStars @Daily_Discussion
