Speculative stocks allow you to earn higher % of profits than value stocks within a shorter term frame. Personally, bulk of my investments are in value/growth stocks and occasionally I would buy some speculative stocks!! $Bed Bath & Beyond(BBBY)$$AMTD Digital Inc.(HKD)$

Just to share some personal experiences when I first started buying US stocks. Unlike SGX market, you can start to buy/sell your stocks during pre-market for US market. 

In the past, I would use DBS Vickers to buy/sell my stocks as it has one of the lowest commission fee for SGX stocks (using cash upfront) and the SGX stocks will be deposited under my CDP account. Furthermore, I do not want to take up the extra hassle to create and manage more trading accounts. 

I remembered everything changed during early 2021, when I was unable to sell and lock my profits for my hot speculative stocks like $Sundial Growers Inc.(SNDL)$, $Nano Dimension(NNDM)$!! I still recalled vividly from a whooping +30% extra gain during opening of pre-market to 0% gain when the US market opens. 

I told myself it's time to change and I have chosen $Tiger Brokers(TIGR)$since then, so that i can buy/sell freely during US pre-market! I'm still holding my free $Apple(AAPL)$share from Tiger Brokers till now. The ability to buy/sell during pre-market is very important for speculative stocks, as you want to faster buy at lowest possible price/lock your profits/minimize your loss before everyone else.
