Hua Lien International (Holding) Company Limited is a Hong Kong-based investment holding company principally engaged in the growing of sugar canes and the manufacture of sugar. The Company operates through three segments. The Supporting segment is engaged in the provision of supporting services to sweetener and ethanol businesses, including the procurement and technical support of consumers and the procurement of chemicals and fertilizers. The Sugar segment is engaged in the growing of sugar canes and the manufacture of sugar. The Ethanol segment is engaged in the production of ethanol biofuel. Its products are sold to African countries, Jamaica and the United States.
