Alibaba reported its unaudited financial results for the quarter and fiscal year ended March 31, 2025 before the US market opened on Thursday, May 15, 2025. The company achieved a net income of RMB 11,973 million, revenue of RMB 236,454 million, and an EPS of RMB 0.65. Additionally, the adjusted net income was RMB 29,847 million with an adjusted EPS of RMB 1.57. Despite a 12% operating margin, Alibaba's stock dropped by 4% in premarket trading. The FY2025 Q4 revenue of RMB 236.45 billion marked a significant increase from RMB 221.87 billion in the previous year. Alibaba also repurchased shares and distributed dividends totaling US$4.6 billion, leading to a premarket stock drop of over 5%.
