Personally, my take is Tsmc will beat analyst expectation. The only uncertainly is if there is any damage from the recent earthquake. Otherwise, with chips in high demand, Tsmc will certainly ride the bull. ASML although earnings fail to meet expectation, but its still a fact that they have a monopoly of the lithography business. And there are still backlog order to be clear. To me, this glitch is a good opportunity to buy

I will be planning to liquidate my short-term holdings and buy the dips when the time comes. For long-term counters, I will continue to stick to my plans/strategies to hold them. If I feel there is no good trades to do, holding cash might also be a good hedging strategy. Options are definitely also something to look at to leverage and benefit from this earnings season.

Please show more compassionate for those lower income families and provide them more help to overcome the high inflation rate. Those lower income families are always “forgotten” by the government or they have no clue which organisations to turn to for more assistance. They are not that well informed as compared to those highly educated families. The hike in GST impacted the nation but the greatest impact are those lower income and elderly folks. Some elderly folks are staying alone or have mobility issue. PM should not just be overjoyed with his new high salary but he should spread his love to the unfortunate. Let’s sit back and see how he performs to prove his worthwhile. We will know in the next GE. [Bless][Smile]

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ I am sure the next report will show diminished profit margin and decreased revenue, why? Because its deliveries will less than expected and also due to higher cost for materials and interests on loans. Individually it won't matter especially for those who are cash rich but it's the overall market that is at play. If BYD even overtook TSLA in terms of EV sales but didn't fulfil the target as expected, imagine TSLA then. I am for TSLA but it will take time to consolidate and make good its developments and deliveries, but not now.
