I opened $American Express(AXP)$ ,AXP: short some additional AXP stocks as it reaches its double top. Feds going to cut rates and that’s positives. That’s also meant the labor market is worsening and credit debts is getting higher with some % pushed into defaults. That’s my current thought process. Will continue to build some additional position if it continue to trend higher.

I opened $SOFI 20240920 8.5 CALL$ ,SoFI: collect 1.5% on this covered call with strike at $8.5 which is about 10% higher than current market rate. Sold the strike higher as SoFI had breakout above its 200 days MA and might go higher on news on Fed rate cuts. Contract will expire on 20th Sept giving this about 25 days to run. Happy to sell at strike as it’s above my stock holding average cost.

I opened $ANF 20240913 145.0 PUT$ ,ANF: collect 2.9% premium from this cash secured put with strike at $145 which is 12% lower than current market rate. Contract duration is till 13th Sept for 18 days. Higher premium due to high IV ahead of earnings on 28th Aug. Have been accumulating shorts so these sold puts will cover them at lower cost average and profit some capital profits. If ANF continue higher post earnings, then will activate trade management to take in the potential losses.

I closed $TSLA 20240830 225.0 CALL$ ,Closed tsla covered call for a nice profit. Made $170 in one trading day. Took profits as price bounced off the 20 day moving average. Nvda seems to be in a bull flag consolidation I believe they will beat earnings as their chips are still in high demand and that might cause the market to rally so better to take profits and monitor the situation
