I opened 1 lot(s) $TSLA 20241011 280.0 CALL$ ,TSLA has a pretty high IV these 2 weeks, guess it’s due to reporting of Delivery numbers. Selling this covered call to hedge any possible down side. While today the share price dips to a low 6% earlier it has gotten back up to -3.5% at the point when this CC was opened. However I don’t think this rebound will last as it is pulled up by over all market, in reality the delivery number did miss estimates thus likely to go back down.

I opened $HSY 20241108 205.0 CALL$ ,HSY: collect 0.95% premium on covered call with strike at $205 which is 5% higher than current rate. Options will expire in 37 days on 8th Nov. HSY price had stagnated for a long while. Selling covered calls on them help to offset holding cost while waiting for recovery.

I opened $Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLF)$ ,I bought XLF as it represents the best US financial institutions in just 1 trade. The Top 10 holdings include Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway, JP Morgan, Bank of America, Visa Inc, Mastercard and many more. XLF is the largest ETF in this category with Assets Under Management of USD 41.97 billion. It pays dividends every 3 months. It goes ex dividend on December 23 2024. Its expense ratio is a low 0.09% which is one of the lowest among competing ETFs. XLF is on an upward momentum. It is up 19.5% year todate and in 2023, it has jumped 37%. I am dollar cost averaging into XLF through Tiger Brokers' Auto Invest feature which is simply brilliant!

I opened $Grab Holdings(GRAB)$ ,I bought Grab as I believe that it is undervalued and oversold for what it has to offer. Grab is South East Asia's leading ride hailing, taxi, food delivery and grocery app. It offers essential every day services to over 670 million people across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar. For its Q2 24 earnings, Grab announced a 17% year on year increase to USD 664 million. This was driven by revenue growth across all segments. Wall Street Analysts are bullish on Grab with a Buy rating, an average Target price of USD 4.88, an upside potential of 29% according to Tipranks. I believe that Grab has lots of exponential growth ahead as South East is a fast growing region.
TOPSeems reasonable at this price. Its revenue has been growing strongly for the past few quarters. Hope that it will achieve good net income in the next few quarters. Cool...Cheers.

I closed $COIN DIAGONAL 241004/241018 PUT 170.0/PUT 160.0$ ,COIN: rolled these CSP with strike $170 expiring 4th Oct to strike $160 expiring 18th Oct. This allows the puts to work its way out if possible. Based on current price of $163, it’s close enough for me to roll and not wait for tomorrow as sometimes pricing can get wonky on the last day for volatile stocks.
