$QANTAS AIRWAYS LIMITED(QAN.AU)$ is the Spirit of Australia and affectionately called The Flying Kangaroo.  It is the largest domestic carrier in Australia and has the largest international flights in and out of the country.

In its latest 3rd quarter 2022 update, Domestic travel is returning to Pre Covid-19 levels ahead of expectations.  There is a lot of pent up demands in Australia due to earlier Covid-19 lockdowns and the Aussies are taking to the skies in a big way..  Australia is transitioning to living with Covid.

The return of Domestic travel ahead of expectations, solid international performance and strong contributions from Qantas Loyalty and Freight Divisions have resulted in significant levels of positive free cash flow in the quarter. 

Revenue growth during the 3rd quarter has led to rapid reduction in the Group's Net Debt from AUD5.5 billion as at 31 December 21 to AUD4. 5 billion by end April 2022 to pre Covid Levels.

Qantas has also announced purchases of new Airbus and looking to expand to direct non stop services to London and New York. 

Qantas is also buying Alliance Airlines to capture the lucrative resource sector market. 

According to Alan Joyce, Group CEO of Qantas, "We are finally seeing a sustained recovery in travel demand."

2022 will be the pivotal year for Qantas to soar to new heights of success!  It is time for the Flying Kangaroo to finally shine again!
