$BRAMBLES LTD(BXB.AU)$ gained 5.1% to AUD12.40 yesterday after it reported that its Full Year Profit After Tax rose 14% to USD 593.30 million.  With stronger than expected 4th quarter performance,  Brambles expects the FY23 performance will be even better.   The company declared a final dividend of 12 US cents,  taking the FY22 total dividends to 22.75 US cents,  up 11% from previous year. 

Brambles is the largest provider of pallet pooling services globally, operating in more than 60 countries through the CHEP brand.   It employs 12,000 people through a network of 750 service centres and owns 345 million pallets,  crates and containers.  

Brambles' substantial scale in key markets provides the business with a cost advantage and wide economic moat.   There is substantial long term upside for Brambles to implement pallet pooling in under penetrated markets globally. 

$BRAMBLES LTD(BXB.AU)$ ticks all the core fundamentals of a quality stock.   It is certainly profitable, has a strong balance sheet and an excellent management team.   Best of all,  it has been paying steady and regular dividends year after year.    That's my favourite kind of stock.
