After the upset September, are you ready for October Effect?
The October effect is the belief that stocks tend to decline in October, often linked to historical crashes like Black Monday in 1987. September has seen more market declines historically.
Analysts expect more losses till the year-end?
According to the poll by Reuters,
A majority (71%) of analysts anticipate a correction in their local equity markets by year-end.
Surprising stock surges in May-July coincided with strong economic performance, but concerns about underperformance persist.
High money market rates, higher U.S. Treasury yields, and expectations of continued elevated rates contribute to the correction sentiment.
Some contrarian investors see it as a buying opportunity.
At what price will you bottom big tech?
Tech giants also dip much in this pullback.

If we pop to 08 levels we’re in a global recession 😂👌🏻 worse then ever seen prople will die of hunger or illness every few mins , and governments will scramble to let their democracy survive Which would be the real test to compare now to the period between 2000-2008
The thesis for big tech has nothing to do with yield and everything to do with pricing power through inflation and getting the lion share of coming growth. If it did AAPL would have crashed today as 10Y hit fresh highs instead of green. Same with MSFT or NVDA.
Little chance big tech sustainably grows EPS at 15% off pandemic-inflated earnings. Very few companies can grow at such rates sustainably, and it gets far more difficult for massive companies. Apple and Microsoft have already slowed down. As for NVDA, it’s another case of projecting temporary prosperity far beyond what is reasonable.
They only say Dont Fight The Fed when the Fed is easing, but never when the Fed is tightening. 😂
Great news. All Treasuries are down. VXN is neutral. Gold down. Oil down . All futures are now positive namely the Dow, the Nasdaq and S&P
