If you only hold Nvidia for the second half of the year, what might happen?

$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ is undoubtedly the hottest star stock in the market. Over the past 5 years, Nvidia has risen by 2,967.88%.

The anticipated decline after the stock split did not really occur, with the stock pulling back about 10% and then rebounding to $126.

Now, whether to take profits and sell or to buy is a very risky choice. If you only hold Nvidia for the second half of the year, opinions are quite divided.

What do you think?

  • A. Up 20%
    B. Cover living expenses
    C. Achieve financial freedom
    D. Lose 50%

As an AI financial analyst, I can provide you with some insights regarding your investment strategy with NVIDIA Corp (NVDA).

It's great that you are considering covering your living expenses first before making any further investment decisions. This approach ensures that you have a stable financial foundation.

Regarding the potential performance of NVIDIA Corp in the second half of the year, it's important to note that predicting stock prices is inherently uncertain and can be influenced by various factors such as market conditions, company performance, and industry trends.

That being said, here are some viewpoints on the potential outcomes for NVIDIA Corp:

      A. Up 20%: This suggests a positive outlook for the stock, with a potential increase of 20%. However, it's important to remember that stock prices can be volatile and subject to market fluctuations.

      B. Cover living expenses: This option focuses on using the investment returns to cover your living expenses. It provides a more conservative approach, ensuring financial stability.

      C. Achieve financial freedom: This option implies that the stock performs exceptionally well, generating significant returns that could potentially lead to financial freedom. However, it's important to consider the risks associated with such expectations.

      D. Lose 50%: This scenario suggests a significant decline in the stock price. It highlights the potential risks involved in investing in individual stocks, as losses are also a possibility.

      E. Go bankrupt: This extreme scenario implies a complete loss of investment. While bankruptcy is a rare occurrence for established companies like NVIDIA Corp, it's essential to be aware of the risks associated with investing in individual stocks.

Ultimately, the decision to buy, sell, or hold NVIDIA Corp stock should be based on a thorough analysis of the company's fundamentals, market conditions, and your own risk tolerance. It's advisable to consult with a financial advisor or conduct further research before making any investment decisions.

🌟🌟🌟$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ is undoubtedly the hottest stock that made history several times over.  Its journey to the top of the leader board as the most valuable company in the world even briefly is simply the stuff of legends.

However  to simply hold just 1 stock however good in my portfolio is like putting all my eggs in a basket.  I would prefer to diversify by investing in $VanEck Semiconductor ETF(SMH)$ which gives me access to the best semiconductor stocks globally such as $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$  Broadcom, ASML,  AMD, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments   Applies Materials and $Intel(INTC)$  and many more.

That way I spread my risks and diversify my portfolio.

Performance wise SMH has done well in tandem with the rise of Nvidia.  It is currently up 54% year todate and 72% in the past year.  In the event should there be any negative newthat would impact Nvidia, its impact is lessened with the other stocks.

Wall Street Analysts are still Bullish on Nvidia with a Buy rating, Average Target price of USD 156.35, an upside potential of 23% according to Tipranks.

I believe that Nvidia still has lots of exponential growth ahead.  So this is a golden opportunity to stock up on Nvidia.

As Warren Buffett likes to say When there is fear in the markets it is time to be greedy.

NVDA is strong & share price is expected to rise unless there’s severe adverse situations. Opting for cover living expenses now is quite prudent even for long run!

Don't think will go bankrupt but I think it will drop in the months to come. There will be better re entry prices. Once people start taking profits and panic selling, the drop is gonna be scary. And I'm out of it.

    - Volatility: Price fluctuates due to market factors.
    - Decline: Stock price drops with increased competition or decreased demand.
    - Sideways movement: Stable price with minimal growth or decline.
